The great thing about clones is you know what you're going to get usually. Small variations due to environmental differences may exist.
Seeds have vigor. The extra gear that clones don't have. They also have a very nice uniform structure for quite some time which makes training a lot easier.
However, phenotypes can vary greatly in an unstable line. You may pop 10 seeds and some grow long and lanky, while others are short and squat. In more stable lines the variations are more subtle with more consistency across the board. There's no way to tell if the breeder has stabilized the line properly, so you're going on reputation at that point.
If you plan on manifolding, I'd highly recommend popping a seed, not saying you can't manifold a clone, but a seedling would be a lot easier IMO. If your space is limited, go feminized.
Good luck!
