Can you tell the sex by this?

Still in Veg stage but getting ready to flip. Can you guys/gals tell what sex it is by this?

Nope, too early to tell.

Yep can't tell until they grow sex parts which are the flowers/ balls

You'll see the sex shortly after you flip be ready for grape clusters study the differences.

Sometimes, something called a "pre-flower" can grow from some of the nodes during the vegetative stage, which should tell you if it's female, male or a hermie. One of my feminized photoperiod plants just started growing very small pistils under a 24/0 hour light period, which confirms they are indeed female. Those pistils will grow to become flowers when I switch the plants to a 12/12 hour light period.

Look at the nodes under the top. From what I've seen, that's usually where it shows the first pistils. You may have to look hard, but check the calyx at the beginning of each node, where the stem and fan leaves meet. Hope that helps
