Can you dip ph pen into res, water?

Can you take ph measure straight from resivore .?

That is the way to do it , you want to know what the roots ph is. Sometimes just adding a little ph'd water will fix the the off reading.

I'll pour a little water 1/4 of the cup and drop a few drops of up or down to settle it, but do in small increments.

If it's too high. Can you add ph into res. OR change out the resivore water?

Lets say your PH is 6.90 that is way high so add a little ph'd water at 6.00 that will take it down some then use the libby cup 1/4 to add down.

PH down is very fast at making it go down lets say the water you added took it down to 6.50 start by adding 5 drops to a 1/4 libby cup wait a few seconds and test again.
PH up is different I need more to get it up so I'd add 10 drops ....by drops I use a pipette to suck it up and drip it to whatever

These are my water settings yours could be different, go slow and learn this
