can plants see green light????

The easy answer is no. However, plants do use a limited amount of green light.
Green light will not interrupt the dark period of your grow. You can do work in your room with a green light during the dark period.
The first time I did use the green light, I was sure hoping that I had gotten good information. As it turned out I was ok, and did spend a lot of time in there with the green cfl on.

Yes, I found this out from Karlee. She keeps a green flashlight, I believe, at the ready to go in her dark room.

My tent roof has these strips built into the roof area, NOW I KNOW WHY. I will set these strips to come on automatically during dark times. This will make it much easier to work in the dark tent

I got a permanent green light bulb hanging in my grow room, considering getting a green flashlight too for those close inspection.
