Can plants see a green light

I use green lights. They work as advertised.

Its true. They don't photosynthesize under green light

when you are flowering and in the lights off cycle. A green light is the only color light you can use and not interrupt the plants.

No. The plants appear to the eye to be green because they reflect back the green light and do not absorb it (or at least, very much of if). Plants that appear purple or magenta do so because they do absorb the green spectrum. So the use of a plant safe green lamp will not interrupt the plants dark cycle.
I do ,sometimes. wonder how or if, in a natural setting, a full moon and/or lightning effects the plants dark cycle?
