can i veg with a 600wtt hps light

i have 6 plants 5 weeks into growing i just put 2 new ones to veg on there 3rd day and are up through the soil am running a 600wtt hps light in my grow tent will i run into any problems doing this

Yes you could use a 600w but I only
used a 400w and they turned out great. 400w will also keep your temps down a bit as well.

also on my next grow I'm going to use a metal halide bulb for vegging as your meant to get better results.

remember that if you decide to use a 400w to change it to 600w on flowering stage for better yield

thanks for your advice and imput i have 6 plants in the tent at 5 weeks of age will they not need the 600w bulb or is 400 better for them i have a 200 wtt cfl light i can set up in a small space to veg them for a week or 2 if its better but maybe i should just keep them in the tent
