Can I change soil when transplanting to lower PH?

Transplanting to a larger pot size soon. Currently having some pH issues due to the promix I'm using. Would the plants go into shock if I changed the soil type to a more peat/perlite base averaging 5.5 pH.
 
Auto or photo? It Makes a difference as u know? If it’s a auto I would leave her alone. I can’t see a problem with the photo as long as the root ball stays together and the plant is growing good. Q. From what size pot to what size pot?
 
5 " to 8" 3/4 . If I'm understanding you correctly, my current promix is that slow release nutrients type. Wishing I had known then what I know now I should have purchased a more lower pH soil with added perlite. promix mycorrhizae to be specific. I have noticed from my previous transplants that I need to saturate the soil prior to transplanting to keep the roots and soil firmly together.
 
Going to pickup some pro mix mycorrhizae hp tomorrow. More perlite, some peat , pH should be around 6.0 . No nutrients. Transplanting the big ones. Also

When u prewater soil before transplant add som cal- mag to it and wait a day to let it dry out a little. Imo
 
Some really nice root growth when transplanting a few large ones. Lots of hair on this Mary but I'm afraid it may be hermi.

Will a hermi have extensive female hairs? And a few ball clovers? Or will there be just the same amount of each organs.
