Can autoflowering strains (auto Mazar, auto Ultimate) take 60 000+ lux?

They should be able to. Ive never grown auotos but the light they need should be the same. 60,000 is a good place o be if going by lux.
 
My last lux reading was 72,000 - 75,000 for my tallest colas. I am showing no ill effects.

What's your take on night cycles for autos? I understand that you haven't worked with autos but do they benefit from a few hours of darkness during flowering?
Right now I've gone 24\0 from seed to flowering. I've read about thc degradation during light hours.
 
And you are correct when exposed to more light = heat for long periods of time THC will degrade for sure.
 
Cool! So in theory if I manage to keep my room let's say 19C and still use 24\0 @ 72 000 lux, then the degradation of thc should be minimal?
 
Sounds right. Cooler temps I would say are the main factor in preserving triches over even amount of light. Keep it cool and you should have smooth sailing. If you have any worries you can buy a co2 bag and it will help as well. Not so much against the light but warmer temps.
 
Thanks! Set The ac to 18C which blows towards The air stream of The dehumidifier Which blows air up where an oscillating fan distributes The cool air over The canopy. Fun fact, I have 5 fans in my room. 2x fans with 360 rotating grill, an oscillating fan on a leg, dehumidifier and ac. I guess you could say my room blows, He he.
 
LoL. Sounds like my room.. (2) 8 inch fans and (1) 6 inch in one tent with (1) 6 inch exhaust in and (1) 6 inch out. This is just 1 4x4 tent. Im running 2 tents same set. 6 fans and 4 6 inch inlines in 2 4x4s.
 
I had one up that high. The buds got big and dense and sticky, but the sugar leaves got kinda crispy with the intense light, a little too much heat, and low humidity... I think most cannabis plants don't get as much light as they need, not not enough. Fiat lux!
 
Having a light source as close as possible does not provide more energy to a plant, all that does is change where photons land.

The sections where two hps light rays cross, The lux get as high as 72 000 approximately.
No signs of heat stress or cupping.
 
I grow autos also, they can handle 66,000easily, Mine are less than a month old an they have 70,000lux constantly and they show no signs of damage, just awesome growth. They are gonna get more than that the last 20-3o days before harvest. They also turn out fine.
