Calculating dosage with Kief?

I was able to make a bunch of Kief today and my intentions are to do infusions in food based products.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to calculate dosages. I didn’t know if it would easily break down like:

1g/1000mg of Kief made in to 100 pieces would come out to 10mg dosage per piece.

Any other tips are more than welcomed as I would rather not waste product or have to hide in the bathroom cause things are too strong haha.

That is a beautiful site.... I’m hoping you get a determination on what is coming out of this mix. Edible is my most practical method and 60% of any yields go to that end

I use 5g of kief in one batch of BettyCrocker fudge brownie mix (seems to work best when freezing) = 50 pieces in mini-parchement papers (freeze) then take 1/4 brownie per dose @ 12.5mg. @ 50% (typical potency for kief)

5000mg/2 (50%)= 2500mg total/50 units = 50mg a mini-brownie- cut into 4 pieces = 12.5mg per dose.
I defrost one each morning and I'm good for the day.

Funny story or not about kief. When I first bought our grinder my wife informed me that she had emptied the waste container compartment into the trash. You know the one at the bottom that catches all of that useless debris! jesus christ in hell.....that's me! :shock::shock::shock:

Hahaha awesome trash story and thank you all for the input.

With the info given, I’ll be running some non-infused runs to see how many gummy bears can be made so I can run the numbers better.

Im really hoping to make a metric ton of gummy bears so I can stock up for the winter and give them away as gifts to friends! Haha
