After taking from GWE all these years, I want to try to give a little something back. My last four or five grows, different strains, have all developed the same issue. Brown/bronze spots on leaves that get progressively worst. I have pulled my hair out searching for the cause but think I may have stumbled across the reason. I grow in coco and have been using nebula Haze feeding schedule and kept getting what looked like leaf Sephora, phosphorus or calcium deficiency. I use tap water (after sitting out a few days) and it struck me that calcium in tap water doesn't appear to be taken into account. Tap water "hardness" varies greatly from region to region, so along with my GH nutrients (which has some ca/mg), I have been adding 1 tsp of ca/ma per gallon of water and get what appears to be a calcium deficiency. I stopped adding ca/mg supplement a couple of weeks ago and everything looks great. This is by no means a scientific answer but I have seen others with similar issues. Perhaps Sirius Fireside or nebula Haze can add more enlightenment!
