Buying seeds online?

Im brand new to this, never grown before. Im planning to do a spacebucket grow and am thinking about buying seeds from online seed banks over seas. I think it will be worth it for the quality, compared to the bagseed around here. It seems safe, but I live in Southeast US, and im still nervous about using my name, address, and credit card info. I'm planning to buy from nirvanashop.com. does anyone have experience buying from them while living in my neck of the woods? Should I send cash and maybe use an alias? Or am I worrying too much and should just pretend like I'm ordering something off amazon?
 
If you read Nebula's articles you'll see that no one has ever been arrested, fined, or otherwise for buying seeds overseas. Worst case scenario: Customs confiscates your seeds and you have to put in a claim with Nirvana. They will resend the seeds but you're waiting up to a month to get your replacement seeds.

Ive heard that if they do get confiscated you may receive the package with a note indicating your shipment was seized. I've also heard you may never get a package at all.

I realize you are probably in a prohibition state but I think you'll be fine. I guess it depends on risk vs reward. In my opinion, minimal risk for maximum reward. Good luck with your future order!
 
Nugs is absolutely correct. I was super nervous about first order, but when they arrived, it was well worth the anticipation! Nirvana was excellent on my order, they have really cool stealth packaging too. Go for it! 🌻
 
I always use my personal card and info and have been doing so for almost a decade now. From a good merchant like Nirvana, the charge shows up on your statement with something innocent sounding like "Nirvana Gifts". Nirvana is probably one of the stealthiest and fastest of the seed sources, so I personally think they're a great company for your first order. You can also email them with questions. I know of several growers who have sent cash to Nirvana without a problem, but I have to admit I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable sending cash through the mail to anybody :)
 
No problem with Nirvana. Also had great results from BC Seedking out of British Colombia. I've also had my seeds confiscated from another seedbank out of Amsterdam. I say go for it.
 
Wow thanks guys. It seems pretty unlikely that yall are a bunch of narcs in an office somewhere, so I'm gonna go ahead and do it. People seem to say northern lights is a good starting strain. Whoo hoo!
