Howdy BrentN2shors, It does appear, to be a nest of eggs, maybe spiders or worse, spider mites! I would suggest clipping the leaf (or leaves) and treat the plant with a pesticide (Azamax is what I would use). You could keep the clippings in a jar (sealed tightly!) to see what hatches from them.
