Buds with new, green pistils

Ladies are almost ready to harvest. Why am I seeing tge emergence of new, green pistils? Indoor, small scale, HLG 65 V2, fox farm trio nutrients to grow (just water at this stage).

A sign that they are getting close to harvest. Is that a banana I see? about 7 o'clock from the center of the bud.

I see those sometimes too, but mostly on the buds that are closest to the light. I assumed it was the plant trying to grow new buds on top of the existing ones.

I just bought a new light to help stop my nanners. I feel I am giving too much light stress causing it late in flower. I'd call your bud an early taste tester bud. They have pollen as soon as they emerge from what I've read. I'd chop it.

I got a lot of those late in the last grow I did under lights. Given its shape I'd say it contains pistols and is not a pollen sac, but it might be. I didn't get one seed though. Most of the unopened ones were in the centre of the bud not on the outside.

You're so close I'd let the grow go till you decide to chop.If it is the start of a hermie it won't produce seed as it doesn't have enough time to do so.
