bud washing, I guess a lot of people out there do this. I however just found out about it reading a thread on here the other day. I have read about it and watched videos. I will probably try it. What is your opinion? how many of you do this as a part of harvest. Please tell me about your experiences i am very instrested. do you really think it improved anything?
the idea seems crazy but logical

I see in your signature that you use Roots Organics, as I do. May I ask what you amended it with ?

If you had to spray you buds for some reason, I can see doing it. Otherwise no, unless your buds just got really dirty.

I start with Roots Organics Original and then add- based on any deficiencies noticed in the previous grow.
Currently; I add dolomite lime- epsom salts- diatomaceous earth about a month before I use the soil.
I don't think the diatomaceous earth does anything and I will likely omit it going forward.

It also helps remove any dead pests/faeces from what I've read in a book. Not applicable to everyone but definitely a good reason to do it

I washed all my buds as some may know already. I like the initial results and see no Ill effects. I used 1 cup of lemon juice and baking soda in 5 gallons of Luke warm water. I also used 5 gallons of plain water to rinse. I had mites, 99% on one plant but I washed them all. You can also use hydrogen peroxide. The method I used is a variation of the doc buds method who is the originator of the bud washing as far as I know.
