HELP! Bud rot?

my second harvest so I'm not too sure what I'm looking at...they went into jars just about 4 weeks ago after drying, they were dry on the outside but still had moisture inside...I have been burping every day until just a few days ago, my hygrometer says they've been stable for at least a couple of weeks at 68° and 63% RH...buds are definitely dry on the outside but still have some 'spring', they are a bit airy as well...I did let them go til there was lots of amber (CBD strain) so there's a fair amount of brown on the outside of the buds...yesterday just for fun I broke open a bud and the inside seems to be a kind of cinnamon colour which is making me nervous! there is absolutely no moldy or off smell, it just smells like lemon and diesel and they are solid inside, not mushy or anything but I need some opinions please! if this might be rot...I'm posting pics of buds inside and outside for colour comparison...:doubtful:

Yeah - looks good to me too - like you said you let them go heavy into the amber - so that is probably what your seeing.

But if you're still unsure - keep that bud separate and just watch it for a few days to see if it gets brown or not.

Looks okay to me as well. I've found that when jarred for a sufficient amount of time the bud will balance out its moisture content to be consistent outside and inside. I still recommend an occasional burp now and then and move the buds around some so you don't develop dense areas.

I've had plenty look like that it's just the genetics. When i saw it i thought it was over dried my first impression but it's not.

gee, I was really hoping someone would say it was rot...NOT! whew! many thanks to all who replied, I guess I won't toss the harvest :)
