Bud burn

Interesting, I used the paper for a few grows and the last grow I got the diffuser. It seemed to work for me, although I don’t have anything to compare too. Your readings are so far off you know something is amiss. The app should recognize your IPhone needs a diffuser and prompt you to select which one. I assume you’ve got that selected properly ? Hopefully they get back to you, I’ve been very happy with the app , it would be nice to know they have decent customer service too.

You'll know when you smoke it..it will be vile.

Light burn should cauliflower the top of the bud or cause unusual growth, fox tailing or odd shape...dunno. the color of the sugars and pistols look like a symptom of rot to me

Mmm... I would heavily assume if nothing happens, it is not rot. I'm also heavily assuming if you put a rotting bud in a jar, the jar will get condensation which would be a good indication of something growing and breathing inside. It might even speed up the rot.
But, like Bluey said in the next post, it looks suspicious like rot. Just not the rot we usually see.

Interesting... I agree those pictures don't look anything like bud rot or mold, that I've seen (and I've had my fair share over the years).

I've had something happen that made my buds look like that after harvest. One time I had these strangth nutrient deficiencies on my plant. It was worst near the light, but all over the plant. I checked the pH, and it was correct.

In the end, I think it was my nutrients. The bottle of Dyna-Gro Bloom was old and I think the cap wasn't sealed well, because I noticed it was making crystals around the lid. Once I bought a new bottle, the deficiency stopped spreading, but my buds still looked like this at the top. The buds sort of died from the outside in. But the main symptoms were on the leaves first, and buds last.

My other thought, was is it possible it was revegging from a light leak? That can make it so the buds start dying, even if the plant is still green and healthy. And it will affect all buds not just the ones close to the light.

Here is what buds dying from a reveg looks like (for reference). Notice the leaves all have one "finger" instead of the normal amount. That's another sign of reveg.

The older I get the more electronics hate me. I just had a training class and I was the old man that dragged everyone down so just because it doesn't work for me doesnt make it bad, its just not old man proof, I am a master poke yoke
