Setting up some bubbler buckets, where should my water level be? I have heard 2†up my mesh pot but I am not sure, thanks

I use a couple of inches, top feed until a good many roots have grown down into the top of the water and then remove the pump and just bubble.

I run 6" net lids with hydroton and 4" grodan blocks. I use about 2" of hydroton in the bottom of the netlid and then place the cube and fill in with hydroton. I will fill the bucket to keep the hydroton submerged but below the Grodan block-that keeps it from wicking solution and prevents stem rot issues. Some folks skip the rockwool and just use hydroton but I like the stability it gives me.
