Bubble vs Dry Ice hash

NebulaHaze SiriusFourside hi guys. I really enjoyed the article about bubble hash and dry ice hash. I wonder if we could get the yield from the dry ice hash and then wash what’s left over into bubble hash combine them and then we would have the volume as well as the perceived high due to any possible water soluble particles that are in the left over from the dry ice hash. What do you think?

Doesn’t work that way. The reason yield is higher (but perceived quality is less) with dry ice hash is because there is more (undesirable) plant material left over in the final product.
Anytime you run a substance through a filtration process (like how bubble hash is processed) you lose a bit to the process (on the bags, in the waste water, spills, the spoon, some gets stuck inside the filter itself). So you will end up with less in the end, plus more undesirable plant material in the final product if you try to wash the dry ice hash into bubble bags.

I think Taz meant to take the dry ice leftovers and run them thru a bubble bag to extract the good that you don't get with the dry method, than mix the results together.

If the yeild was good... than there won’t be much left over. I don’t make dry ice hash, but tried making canna butter with bubble hash trim leftovers. The bubble hash was great, the canna butter did nothing to me. My typical canna butter is normally great, so I just discard the bubble hash processed used trim (or compost it when possible) from that point on.

I would say technique is what brings out the desired compounds. Even with the bubble hash method, the wrong technique will leave too much undesired plant material in the final product. Potency of hash is always a factor of concentration (a ratio of undesired material to more desirable material), bubble hash (when done correctly) separates the tric heads from the plant material fairly well. Dry ice hash tends to dry out the plant material out, which leads to more plant material contamination in the final product (less potent final product).

So then you are not actually combining anything. 😂 but wanting to split up the trim/bud up into 2 separate runs. Lol

Seems like you are saying make 2 different types of hash separately, not sure where the word combine fits in here? I’ll try to explain...
Here is the issue... the first yeild will be dry ice hash, gives you plenty but will be more contaminated than bubble hash would have been. If you save that trim/bud...and re-run it again in a bubble hash system, you won’t get much (if anything at all) on that second run. Because you will have yeilded mostly everything during the dry ice hash run.
So your large yeild will still be contaminated and the bubble bag re-run will not produce enough to make the entire bubble hash process worth it.

This was all based upon the article that had been written by the people that I originally tagged. If you were familiar with that article you would realize they brought up the possibility that maybe some substances were being washed into the hash from the bubble hash that was water soluble that was not brought into the dry ice hash which would possibly explain the difference in potency. Does this make more sense as to why I wish to run the material twice and combine it?

Please know what you’re talking about before you respond (go read the article) we keep saying the same thing over and over and over.!!!!

Only ever made dry ice hash not real interested in making bubble hash it looks really really messy. I was only making a comment on the article that had been written the comments were intended for the authors of the article or at least someone familia only ever made dry ice hash not real interested in making bubble hash it looks really really messy.

That being said anyone else that wants to do this is welcome to the idea.

No... you still have not explained what is being combined here. You are saying run the material twice (which everyone already does). You want to run 2 separate processes on one material. Fine. You already have your answer.
If that was not what you were looking for, maybe you are not explaining yourself correctly.
You think I don’t know what I am talking about. Ok. So I won’t waste my time with this anymore. No one is paying me to explain this stuff to you. ✌️

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’m not saying I wouldn’t love seeing the results, but I don’t see any reason to go out of the way to do 2 separate methods just to combine the yields. I love my dry ice runs. Less mess and half the time. The extra plant matter in the product isn’t a deal breaker, especially if you’re planning on squishing it into rosin.

I'm with you my friend, we've tried both ,and I just love the DryIce hash, and so do our friends, and not just because it's easier, and you get more product, but because we think it's more potent, imo, that's all I'll ever make from now on is DryIce Hash.
But I'm sure sure some people love bubblehash too,
