Bored today and I’ve had 2x bags of dried and cured trim I’ve been meaning to make hash out of for a long time cos I’ve not been arsed making bubble. I don’t have any ice in the house so decided to just use the 120micron bag and shake the trim over some parchment paper to see how it would work out. Holy shit, got 20g! The trim is still laden with trichromes so I think I’m still gonna make some bubble with it or maybe a batch of butter. This is how am making my hash/keif from now on!

I gave up on the ice hash hassle. Like you I just let it
dry well and run it through a screen. 3 gram wafers.

Pleasant surprises are nice....Now I know how my neighbor does his hash ...dry w/ screens..yes .bubble is a pain but it smokes so nice...

Could you elaborate on the process after running thru the [NODE="120"][/NODE] sieve. How are you compressing into a brick?

I use a trim tray with a 150 micron screen. I let the trim leaves dry out and then just shake the leaves around in the tray kinda like panning for gold. I have an aluminum billet mold and I use a heat press set to about 130 degrees and make 3 gram biscuits.

This time I made heel hash. Simply just put in the parchment paper and fold it over a few times to keep it from coming out, stick in the heel of your shoe and walk around for an hour or so. Weight of your body will compress together. You can also use your hands or the hot bottle method but that doesn’t as well with kief
