Brown on main steam that is spreading

Hi I'm new to the site and first time grower. I live in the North West and have run into some trouble with one of my plants. It started about two months ago when I noticed some white mold growing on the main steam at which point I wiped it away and had no further isues. The plants are now in the flowering stage and the one that had the mold now is Brown wear the mold was and it seams to be spreading up the steam to other branches which is causing them to dry out. I have cut the two branches that were drying off. I have looked at the colas on the plant closely and see no signs of mold. I would like to save this plant if possible. As far as growing conditions it is as follows; in door tents with LED lights and intake fans. Using tiger bloom, big bloom, and beastie bloomz for nutrients. On a 12&12 light cycle. Have about four weeks to harvest.

Ok thank you. I have tried to upload pictures but it will not let me. The rest of the info to come.

You might try a neem oil solution. Neem oil is a general all purpose remedy for pests and fungus. It has antifungal properties. However only apply it to the affected area that stem you spoke of. Do not get it on the buds. I repeat not on the buds.

Hi Rita and welcome to the forum!!!! LOWER THE HUMIDITY AND GET A FAN ON THOSE GIRLS TO MOVE THE AIR.

During the last 5 weeks of flowering on my first grow (I'm on my second now) I lowered the humidity in my grow room dramatically with a dehumidifier. See this page:

Ok I cut all but three steams and the steams were all hallo. I'm thinking I'm losing the hole plant. I still don't see any signs of mold. The buds all have lots of white hairs and christals on them but it's like some one put them in a dehidraer. I have three other plants in the same tent with no signs of problems but put neemo oil on all of the steams not on buds.

Hey Rita, it's really hard for day of us to help you out without more details or pics. Tell us everything you got if pics don't work. Ph, temps, rh, medium, lights...anything...

Welcome Rita,If you are having problems uploading pictures try reading this thread ,it will most likely help you!

I have no experience as im running my first grow ever but what medium are you using? Also are your roots well aired ? It could be that (since it's going upwards) roots are rotting or some other root problem and taking Neem oil or other solutions since you haven't identified the issue would not be wise as it could cause more stress to your babies (like i have trying to stop leaves from curling) than good!!Take it one step at a time and right down your exact moves so you know what did what or at least where an issue started!

You said the stem was hollow? It's not always a bad thing..How tall/thick are your stems, ive seen a couple grows where at harvest stems were hollow about 2x Toothpick size in a 1.5" stem but those plants did not show any other sign...

If you are using your phone to upload picture please try using a different browser on it or using a pc/mac/laptop!

Good luck with your babies!!
