broken plant

I'm growing in a little area and in a bubble aerogarden for my starts and clones i reached around one of them and i broke it off at the base it was still connected so i put cloning gel where it was broke and wrapped a sponge around it tied it with a twist tie it been about 3 days and it starting to look like there no return any ideas or is it gone would trimming it up help or just be done i tried up loading a pic but it's to big

Tape is what I use when I break a stem . If you can splint it up right asap after breakin gives best chances of survival. If after 2 days its not perking back up, probly not going to survive.

Duct tape works wonders they even put it on race cars lol
