Broke and need light

Hello All. I have a question about lighting. I have alot of leftover LED strips can I use this for the crop? I need more light as the garden gets bigger and at this point it would save on cash.

My budget says use whatever I must, I started inside with CFLs, certainly not the greatest but they will work. You dont give any info on the LEDs you have, without that how would we know.

ANY light will work. But... Use what you have and upgrade as soon as you can afford it.
