Bottled terpenes

I see any number of different "terpenes" for sale in very small bottles. Are these bad for any reason other than being a bit disingenuous?
 
SiriusFourside and I were discussing some different post processing additives 5-6 months ago and to live on the side of extreme caution, decided that its best until further tests might be performed. Not really wanting to be anyone's guinea pig or test dummy. Would'nt you know...a few days later the VAPE CRISIS hits... Err on the side of caution
