I am on bore water, just starting hydro, ph was 8.1 ive buffered down to 6.0, my ppm is 455 and ec is 910, how the hell can i add nutrients, id guess, its mainly calcium, looks like i give up on hydro eh?
No offense but you didn't really think it through, did you? I would recommend getting a nutrient solution from a reputable company. There's many different brands and some use 2 bottles, some 3. Personally I use General Hydroponics Flora trio and it works pretty well. I would also suggest getting some CalMag solution to add along with that. You're also going to want to get something to protect the roots, I use Hydroguard by Botanicare. I'm assuming you already have a pH down solution? If not I'd suggest some of that as well. Hope that helps and happy growing.
The tap water I use is about 7.64pH and a bit over 400ppm. Just like dphipps1020 I use GH Trio but I also use some of there supplements too. If you go to GH website, they have a feed chart calculator. You input your ppm and reservoir size, it makes you a feeding schedule based off of your ppm reading and the products your using (GH only). Go ahead and add the nutes, start at 1/4 dose of what the bottle says, check your readings.
Please dont offer any more advice you obviously have no concept of reality, what i needed was someone with a brain to give me some help.....go away fool!
Just because you want to be a douche about it, proof I know a little bit about hydro. Not a pro by any means but I gave you the "basics" for hydro grows. Don't worry though, I got nothing else for you.
