I'm done with cfl growing I believe...

CFL's seem pretty harmless to seedlings or early clones. Could they handle the 315?

besides height limitations, are there any other benefits to using 640W of CFL VS a 600W HPS or the 315?

No..none...
I just did it to keep me busier...I'm too busy now...plus without all them on it keeps the room my tent is in a few degrees cooler...that's a plus...and raised my humidity which is also good for me right now...
