Bloom nutes.

Hello to all, so I'm in the mind to get some bloom nutes, I use a hydro shop just out of town, I'm not sure about posting links to shop websites so I won't, green75 already suggested emerald harvest(thanks green75) but I can't get this,boo!!! The shop I use has a wide variety such as: advanced nutrition, b'cuzz, biomass, canna, cx hydroponics, dogs bollocks, Dutch pro, green dream, growth tech, house and garden, plagron and plant magic. I have to choose from these as I can't purchase on line, if anyone has used any of these success or disaster stories would be welcome, or general nutrients suggestions, thanks all!!
 
I use advanced nutrients in my hydro setup. Works great, but expensive.

Best bang for the buck imo with Advanced is Grow, Micro, Bloom, Bud Candy, and Big Bud. With these 5 you can have a great harvest.

Note: Big Bud can be used after the first week of flower until flush/harvest.
 
Just had a look at advanced, you weren't kidding about expensive, I'll definitely consider these now though, thanks for the tip royal.
 
For advanced nutrients use

Bud Blood in early flower (weeks 1-2)
Big Bud in middle flower (weeks 3-4)
Bud Blood in later flower (weeks 5-6)

They don't make bud blood anymore I don't think.

It's bud igniter, big bud, then overdrive. Like I said though, you can use big bud the whole way instead of buying all three. I did it myself and it worked fine. It's not optimal but neither is my nutrient budget.

ever try this stuff. 12-55-6 this will kick a plant into bloom like nothing ive ever seen.
 
They say 1 tbs per gal every 10-14 days. And it's only $10.00 2 lbs will last you years. If you think its too strong,, just use 1 teaspoon. And check the PPMs. I've used it for years with no ill effects. Not the typical bloom fert for weed but the plant wont know the difference. I also use bloom ferts from Kelp4less. Great stuff and you dont pay for water.
 
I've never seen a bloom food with that high a middle number which is the phosphate, correct? I am inexperienced, so maybe it is a silly question.

I'm using Canna line. Haven't been in flower long enough to tell you how good the bloom nutes are, but the veg line worked great.
 
Correct. And there are no silly questions. Iv'e heard that before but think about it for a minute,,,,, ok, it might be too much if used every watering, but i only use it every week or two depending on what the plant is telling me. Cut it back to a tsp per gal and you could use it like every other day. The numbers are still the same no mater how much or little you use,,, its a ratio 12-55-6.. cut it in half, its still 12-55-6 but now the PPM will be lower. They are procentages.
It's the same as 2-9-1 only stronger. So you dont have to use as much to get the same PPMs. I have used it every day at the correct PPMs and not burnt any plants. Sometimes ill use 3 or 4 different bloom ferts on the same plant over the course of the grow just to see what happens. That's half the fun of growing. It's not just to get some weed. I could buy all i need,, its the fun of doing it yourself, learning something new, and the feeling of accomplishment when the buds turn out better than anything you could buy.
 
What the shop has is what royal said, bud igniter, big bud and overdrive, I'm only looking to use one so big bud makes the list, thanks guys!
 
I agree insomniaczzz, 12-55-6 seems v.high phosphorus, and there is twice as much nitro as kalium, I won't question your methods Gordo because you seem a successful and experience grower, I'm just getting through my first grow and I'm going for something a bit of a safer bet, thanks for the suggestion!!
 
Keep me posted how canna line work out for you pankace, I got a week maybe two before I use nutes.Thanks for suggestion.
 
Yes by all means be careful on you first grow. You have to crawl before you can run. Thats how i started also.
I do a lot of experimenting with my grows and plants because im a scientist at heart and i love to mess around to see what happens with different methods of growing and use of nutes. If your growing for the first or second time and "need the weed"
(Hey, im a poet) please use conventional methods to grow your plants. And pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
 
Canna A+B works very well for coco, i can't comment on any other medium. Ive only used coco for the last ten years.
 
This plant has taken my interest way beyond the final product Gordo, I too am interested to experiment with different media, growing techniques and nutes. I use the end product medically( and I love it!!)and I will take yours and everyone's advice in and try to combine them to be the best grower I can, I pay attention to all advice, so don't hide behind a curtain dude, keep it coming!!
