Best Strain Question

Hello All,

What strain is the best for growing in southern ontario Canada?

I am currently thinking 1 white widow, 1 norther lights, and 1 Bubba kush.

Any strain suggestions anyone can suggest is much appreciated.

Oops, I literally just asked this same question in another thread, although with different parameters (outdoors, interest in size etc.).

I am in the Oakville area, not sure if you are farther south but I expect we have similar conditions. I assume from your question you are also looking for outdoor suggestions. Northern lights is always recommended for outdoors, and for us northerners in particular. It grew well for me. I haven’t tried the other two. Whatever you pick, look for resistance to molds and such as well as something without a long flowering cycle because that cold wet weather can land on us anytime in this part of the world and you will be trying to keep them alive and mold free into at least early October unless you grow autos.

good luck!

As long as you stick to auto in pots. You can chase the sun .....water them ,,,ready in 10 weeks.....who can ask for more...............PEACE

Indoors or outdoors? Cooler climates like us up here in the Great White North (Canada) see all kinds of strains popping up. White widow does good in colder climates but the temp can't fall below 10C or they suffer. White widow needs at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight if grown outdoors and will take 12 weeks or more (buffalobuds hasn't grown it in Canada I suspect). Northern Lights typically likes even more direct sunlight hence part of the name.

Im from somewhere between Windsor and London...we have a really good environment for growing weed around this part of ontario. Humidity is a bitch though. Be prepared to combat WPM. I grew both auto and photo's last year. Quarter Pounder auto, Ayahuasca purple photo, and a couple of mystery seeds. All did fine but the photos got pollinated. So im trying autos only outside, try to have them harvested before photos decide to switch to flower. Just dont pick a rare or unique strain. GG#4, Northern Lights, Blueberry, WW, AK-47, GDP, G-13 all grow well here.
