Best soil mix ratio

hi fellow growers, on my 1st grow ever and after a disastrous start using a soil with no nutrients I did well to rescue them but with the right advise from this group,
so im gong to start a few more autos and was going to use clay pebbles and coco but unsure of the mix to use, I’m thinking 3/1 coco to pebbles any thoughts please

Can't really say Iv had experience or seen many mix coco and clay the way you are talking about, I would think that the clay pebbles would be to course for proper aeration and root growth.

why would you not use perlite?

I'm new to this and still researching but 25-30% perlite and 70-75% Coco Coir is what I see recommended so that is probably what I'll be going with.

i put a few clay pebbles in mix to hold bit of extra moisture and few air pockets just to try and get a bit extra co2 in easier dont know how affected it is mate
