Bernie on legalization.

I'm not a voter myself but seeing last election got decided on a few thousand every one counts. Bernie Sanders wants to legalize on federal level. I'm normally Republican but seeing Trump has really put a hurt on the poor man big time I've changed my mind and my party. Leafly recently emailed me talking about Sanders and other candidates view of cannibus and they say he wants to repeal federal law against cannibus. Got my vote gonna do it this time he needs support like we need support spread the word fellow growers.....:)
 
No thanks! As a Vermonter I've witnessed first hand how little Bernie actually accomplishes...short of enriching himself on the public dole, running a perpetual campaign and writing a few books, he's gotten nothing done. I do give him credit for figuring out how to never work a day in his life in the private sector though.

The GF is for him also, but his own party did not back him last time, per the media he had 10% more notes than HC and like a good little puppet stepped right in line.
I only hope that we get someone to vote for instead of against, can we get a new box on the ballet "NONE OF THE ABOVE"?
 
I got up this morning to all of the political news .... I was ACTUALLY going to start a thread asking: ASIDE FROM ALL ELSE, which presidential candidate would do the best for our cause?

i got that Leafy article as well and the interesting thing about it is who has been on board the longest. Bernie Sanders. Like GreenState , being Vermonters, I saw what Bernie Sanders did and said in Vermont in the 70’s and I do agree that he always seemed like the opportunist. ‘Hmm, let me find a place where I can rise above the locals and be the boss” so to speak. ‘ hey, Vermont, no one there really wants to take control and I’m from Brooklyn, they’re all farmers, perfect....I’ll be the king”. NOW THATS NOT WHAT HE SAID. But it’s kinda what I felt.

on the other hand.... even with Trum, nothing gets done without support of the majority party... it’s not a dictatorship. The thing is, so many of them think the same way so his views seem to win out. So going back to All the others.

so many have said NO... then with some pressure they changed their views UNTIL they are in office...then it’s status quo I think. I think Bloomberg has even said... legalizing is ridiculous but now agrees for medical use. George Bush OUTLAWED stem cell research and we lost a shitload of time in the outcomes for that science that could be saving my life one day and a few people I knew who have had problems. When we exceed the list of things we benefit from, we have options for anything. Back in the 50’s when the only real drug was penicillin...THAT was the only option. You see how things have changed, what would you want today?

so, whose the guy? Or girl?
 
Considering the age of these candidates, I'm thinking vise president running mates might be just as important in the final decision.
I won't vote for bernie or warren and question biden's cognitive abilities. I finding myself winnowing down to 2 choices.
(I would vote for Nikki Haley if or when)

I would hope the people on here complaining about 'communist' Bernie never working a day in his life and enriching himself are not the same people who voted for Trump, who 'drained the swamp', ignores the emoluments clause, and changes the tax codes to benefit his businesses and profit his fellow 1%ers.They've got you right where they want you if you think helping fellow working class citizens is the problem and not our extreme capitalist society geared toward enriching the rich.

If the last would have been between Trump and Chimp, Chimp would have won. But I could say the same thing the other way around, with Chimp being Mr Pres! Give me someone to vote for instead of having to pick between the lesser of two evils!
I would sooner vote for a working man/woman, someone that has worked 50 and 60+ hour weeks to make ends meet all their life. And for the vice, a person that has been homeless and on the streets for the last 10 years!
 
I don't know why ANYONE would run for POTUS I think it would be one huge PIA. I mailed my ballot for Bill Weld. No candidate is perfect, but for me, he'll have to do.
