This is from my experience, light changes that are severe, like going from CFL to a powerful led or hps can stress a plant, interruption of light cycle i.e., power outages or surges. Also if heat issues are present, seeding can occur. I bump my lights up in small increments, CFL, T5, then HPS using dimmer function, I run a three station setup. If you only use feminized seeds, those seeds will be 98% feminized. Keep them! They are terrific to use as practice. I haven't had a plant seed on me in several years, but I still have hundreds of seeds and they still sprout, and not one problem. I admit I was bummed at first, as they are a hassle in the bong if you miss one.
