Beautiful buds with tons of seeds

My last grow I switched to leds, I had a very good crop, the buds were beautiful but they were full of seeds. I have been growing for several years and never in countered this problem before with my old lights' can someone help me? I have always used female seeds from Nirvana seeds and have never had a male plant in my grow room.

For you to have tons of seeds, something pollinated your girls. Unless they Hermied. Are you sure there weren't any other Pot plants near by ?
 
U had a roster in the hen house last grow,or u pollinated it going in and out!
If u trust the seed co.not to screwup! Lol
 
There where no other plants anywhere near these. the seeds came on really late and the plants matured very early ( 6 weeks ). The stuff is really good and all the buds dont have seeds. I had 4 different kinds growing but the master kush didn't do as well. I did have problems with it getting to tall and cut it back well into flower. I mainly need to know if the led lights could cause this (lights to close). I have been getting my seeds from nirvana for 10 years, never had a male

I didn't think so but that was the only thing that i did different this time. I have to think I stressed it and made it go hermie. I knew it was too late to prune it but I did it anyway. Live and learn
 
Yeah, the LED was not the cause. One of your ladies hermied is all. Maybe the timer for you light glitched?
 
It wasn't the LED, one just hermied, an so some of your seeds, should you ever try to grow any, they also have a good chance to hermie, but also a good chance to be female seeds too. A few seeds never hurt anything anyway.
 
It was more than a few seeds lol. it didn't hurt the taste, smell, or quality at all. It take me back to the seventies when we had to clean our pot before we smoke it, kinda relaxing haha.
 
I did check for light leaks weren't anymore than in the past, I have fixed all that i could find before I started this grow. It just kinda scared me, I have been doing everything the same for the last 10 years and I just couldn't think what might have changed.
 
When was the last time you bought some really good weed with seeds in it? Look at the bright side. If your plant hermied, then they are all female seeds. I have personally grown some ass kicking weed from my own hermied seeds.
 
jwar That happened to me on my last grow: my C99 hermied, and all the plants had some seeds--mostly tiny and undeveloped. So I went back and re-read what causes hermies, and in my case, I think it was too much heat during flowering, which caused the stress. I think you prolly got your cause right.
 
Light stress will cause this, some strains are more susceptible to this kind of stress, had this happen in the past, keep those seeds, I bet they will be viable, save the darkest seeds.
