Fall colors, frosty tops and some fox tailing. Harvesting this grow in stages. I took the tops today. The lower growth is a good week behind

Thanks! It’s been fairly warm here lately so I turned the gas heater off in my basement. The temperature dropped again the last week which brought the colors out

I totally forgot that I had a bowl trimmer 🤣😅 I was in my basement just getting some tools for the next grow and there's this big giant box and I opened it up and there's a bowl trimmer in there 🤣🤣. I think I used it one time and I'm like no I don't like this and then forgot about it.

How do you like the bowl trimmer? Did you get satisfactory results? How about all the trim at the bottom of the bowl was it as much as you expected or was there way more than there should have been?

They don’t do too bad as long as you use it as soon as you harvest the plant. I had enough hanging from what I cut down last week for a full days worth of hand trimming so I went ahead and spun these.

Trick is to weigh the buds fresh then again after a few days on a drying rack. Once they’ve lost about 3/4 of the original weight they’re ready for jars. 100g wet, dry until 25-30g then jar

I use one spacer between the blade and the rack so they don’t cut too close. Some buds still need a quick hand trim afterwards

I like mine but I am a really bad hand trimmer. I do a little hand triming to clean them up. I prefer to dry trim also. Wont be a lot of people that agree with me on this but it works for me so I take no offense. Hell you already bought yours so why not try it?
