HELP! Banana's in buds?

Hi everyone,

Been growing 3 plants in DWC on my first grow.
Had a few issues with pH fluctuating between 7.3 to 5.0 between water changes (7 days about)

Noticed on the last change (yesterday) that there were things looking like small banana's in most of the buds...

I'm wondering, has one of them Hermed?
Or is she in the process of rhodelization ?

She's been growing since Jan of this year... from bagseed.

Very gently pluck them out with a pair of tweezers before they open and pollinate. Don't panic, is no big deal. Even if it opens, it will most likely only pollinate the one bud.
 
FlyingDutchPaddy , Kingfish, might be right, about picking them off, but my experience with nanners like yours, is by the time you see one ,and pick it off, you are already too late, and you can expect some seeds, But it's still gonna be good smoke. Even with a few seeds.
But I bet all 3plants, have a few seeds.
Ph, might have caused the problem, but I'm thinking some light got too them, just a guess. Your still gonna have some good smoke, or you could try to remove the bad plant, but I'm thinking it's too late for that.
GoodLuck, and I've been wrong plenty of times.lol
 
D.A.A.S.69 I have had a light leak a while ago, several weeks back I noticed in the morning while taking a peek in the tent that the exhaust duct was letting in light from the early morning.
Thats been covered over now with Alu foil.

I've pics now of things which look like seedsacks below the buds...

Edit: the leaves are nice & sticky... buds too.

I don't think they're seed sacks. They look like calyxes that hav'nt shown pistils yet. Seed sacks literally look like little hanging balls.

Yeah, like Kingfish said, this look like calyxes too me to.
But with bag-seed, whotfknows,?
Strange things been happening with alot of grows with bag-seed, here lately, some have looked like yours ,and opened a few days later, and pollen came out. It's hard to say what to ecpect, with bag-seed..
But I guarantee, it will get you good and high.
If it's possible, try to get some good seeds, like from the seed banks, Nebula mentions, then you are much less likely to get bad genetics, but there is still a chance, even then.
I'm thinking, the light leak did it. Anyway good luck ,FDP.

she's one of 3.
number two has the same characteristics as this one, started making buds fairly early.
number three, my mystery plant as i call her, she only started revealing she was a girl 2 weeks ago after shortening the light time by 30 mins.
But she is big & bushy... showing lots of bud sites.
Pic of her is in my other post, about the pH dropping.

lighting is 10:45 hrs light, 13:15 hrs dark.

Ive been looking for quality seeds in Ireland, and I can order Dutch Passion seeds from two growshops around where i live.
They have a 30th anniversary deal in their catalogue, 30 seeds. 10x Power plant, 10x white widow and 10x outlaw amnesia
supposedly one of those shops can also get their hands on Dinafem auto's...

Basically i've started out my first grow with bag seed that i've been collecting over the last 6 years...
Now that I have the equipment, time to get familiar with DWC & LED growing...
Gives a good start for the real quality seeds when i get those.
 
Hey FDP, those sound like some great seeds, especially the PowerPlant, and the WhiteWidow, or the Amnesia. DutchPassion And Dinafems autos are great.
I'm growing a DutchPassion right now, that I'm fixing to harvest, whe the light comes back on, in 2-3days. She grew nicely.
Are you from Ireland? That's where my folks came from.
You ever seen VanMorrison or U2 ??
What about ConorMcgregor ? That's a tough mfer, if you ask me.
Plus Ireland is so beautiful, PaganRich is from the UK. And he told me how pretty ,the countryside is over there.
Is it illegal where you live ?
Excuse my ramblings, we been busy all morning ,keeping the pipe loaded. Lol

i'm a Dutchman living in Ireland - hence the name Flying Dutch Paddy ;)
havnt seen vanmorrison or U2 yet... have seen the Rubber Bandits in a smallish place in Limerick.
all i know about Mcgregor is that he's a boxer... not into boxing/UFC myself.

and yes, Ireland is a beautiful country, especially when the sun shines... :)
County Cork is down south and seems to have the best of the weather, though other irishppl may disagree with me.
Rural ireland is best... nice open stretches of countryside with the only neighours being cows in the next field, or the farm in the far distance :D

It seems that ppl here don't like cannabis much... though demand is high amongst smokers... expensive AF as well... €50 for a bag of 3g.

AFAIK, it is illegal.... but recently there was a case where someone got a 'medical license' to purchase it for epilepsy...
In Blarney castle Co. Cork there is a "poison garden" that has a cannabis plant in it - in a cage, out of reach... eyes only.

IMO, it is a plant. how can it be bad to grow a plant? saying its bad to me implies that the generalisation is that all plants are bad...
might as well close the fruit & veg section of all supermarkets then... :P
 
Hey FDP, Nice. It is beautiful, country, the cows and horses and farms, sounds just like where I live.
ConorMcgregor. Is a MMA expert, he just got into a boxing match with FloydMayweather. ,not long ago, but he is a MMA, fighter.

FlyingDutchPaddy Greetings from the borders of Wales/ England, mate, 3g is going for around £30 here but I have heard of 4 x £10 bags going for 3 ie 30 notes. With what I smoke I`d be bankrupt within a year. Heavy street prices, poor flushing, minimal curing---wrong type of head f##k for me. Can`t beat your own. Ireland`s beautiful mate. Very envious...:)

I agree, its very expensive & can only go by what the dealers say. Have had stuff that was sprayed with god knows what that made it oily...
gave me the shivers when i smoked that... (was a good few years back now)

You just can`t beat this part of the world. I spent a lot of years traipsing about the countryside, camping with mates and such. Good days though bad handovers. Don`t know if this was something you`ve tried but when I was younger I did like Acid. Prob was, towards the end you started getting really bad stuff coming through causing bad gut aches and cramps from the shit they cut it with. S`ppose it`s all money for those types of lads. Hope you have a lovely Sunday mate :)
