Autopot help and opinions?

Has anyone used this? I like the simplicity but I would be curious as to how well it works?

I just checked it out on the internet, it only waters from the bottom! Not sure my plants would like that?

I had to Google what autopots are. They look interesting.

What medium are you planning on using?

No plans as of yet, i am curious as to how well this works. Looking for people who have experienced highs and lows of it.

It sounds great not needing power to operate. I've seen gravity watering systems but this says that hydro is possible. I'm definitely curious. Good find.

Yeah it seems nifffty, but would it work? I would be mildly concerned about lines gumming over the span of a grow.... and would the reservoir be large enough to make the time balance worth it. Meaning I wouldn’t want to top up everyday.
