I have started my first grow with the Auto Pot system. Has anyone else tried this? After learning about a grower named Autopotamus I was impressed and wanted to give it a try. He has been getting 16oz dried out of his auto flower plants. My best is 4oz with living soil. The one on the left is Granite Haze by Speed Run Seeds and on the right is Pineapple Express by Barney's Farm. They have both been defoliated a few times but are still bushy. They are both 5 weeks old and I noticed the first pistals a couple of days ago.

Hello rock3822 Welcome to the autopot system. Those girls are lookin' good! Nice green color, no burnt tips.
I've been growing in autopots exclusively for several years. I grow in 50/50 coco/perlite using CX Horticulture nutrients and have two tents and two systems. For me, coco is more forgiving than the soil method I started growing with. I use a Bluelab PH controller for both 12 gallon reservoirs. Autopots answered my biggest challenge in growing and that is how to water and more importantly, when to water marijuana. I have continued to use them because they work. Light leaks in the rez can cause funky smells and weird growth and that can lead to clogged pipes, be careful with that. I've used the air dome system off an on over the years. I'm still chasing that 1lb per plant though. I think the most I have ever harvested was a little less than 2 lbs from 4 plants.

There is a hole in the top of the tank, is that the light leak you are referring to? If so have you tried taping it up? I only put a max of 2-3 gal at a time in my tank and clean it with a vinegar/H2O solution between refills as well and cleaning the little filter. I'm running my light continuously with no rest as Autopotamus does. I am also using straight Canna coco coir with the air dome and started with Canna Aqua Vega, but am currently flushing with 5.8 distilled for 48 hrs before changing to Canna Coco nutes. I should have started with that, but I am just learning the system and what's best to use. My first four grows were done using Living soil which yielded about 4oz per plant. Yep, that little hole is where the rez pump and controller leads go into the tank. I've had the rez as full as it will go more than once while away. I usually go in 10 or 20 L fills. I mix using litres, it's easier it seems. I've looked everywhere trying to find a way to plug it. I use a black rag at the moment, but I don't like it. I'd also like to find a better filter solution than what they come with. I'll shoot you a DM
