Amazing how quickly the weather changes anymore. One warm day and I saw a few lady bugs in the windows, pair of ducks fly by, turkeys are back up on the hill, chickadees zinging around my head,flock of robins came in , geese going by up in high altitude and a friggin monster pileated woodpecker driving me crazy,hammering away on a dead tree in my neighbors yard(lol)

It was 10C last night - really knocked the snow down, hopefully it goes close to, or below zero tonight (to allow runoff, decrease flooding)

GreenState That's a beautiful picture. I've got woodpeckers where I live, and I love the sound they make building a home. I can also hear the owls hooting when I wake up early. Gotta love birds.
The bud's been smoked. Couple of homies came over yesterday and we had a smokeout in the dungeon with the mary jane.

All plants have been harvested and dried, and are now curing happily in jars. I really screwed up my weight calculations, and I also put two strains in the same jar, which I then had to separate out; I might have been vaping a little bit, I don't remember. So I have no concrete final tally, but I think my total was around 13-14 oz., which is my best so far. Here were some of the buds drying:
And I am decarbing all the sugar leaves and larfy buds to make concentrate: before and after decarb:
Then into the freezer it will go to get it nice and cold before I pour in the Everclear--which is already freezing.
Grow #10 began today with 8 seeds germinating away, water and H202 cleaning out both systems, and I'm in the process of changing out the old HID ballast for the new LED ballast.
I sure learned a lot from my mistakes. TONS. I have to train enough to keep the height of my plants under control, but not so much that they don't get tall enough to grow into the light sweet spot. I have to defoliate, but not overdo it and stunt growth. I have to keep using the same nutes which were great. And right now, I have to grind and vape this Jack Herer bud which is calling my name...

Awesome grow ATU! Those buds look fantastic! Always an awesome feeling to beat a personal best, and learn how to do things better in the future. I feel like I've learned something every grow so far ðŸ‘

Great job ATU , do you decarb your trim before you make oil or are you still leaving the alcohol in it , I just finished up some oil that I used a gallon of moonshine with ,( I think the moonshine needed to make another run it had to much water in it , so I could only get it down so far then I added a tbs of coconut oil .I'm filling caps then in the freezer they go

when I make my oil it is in a rice cooker for many hours I thought this would decarb the weed

oldjarhead100 It depends at what temp. it is. It can sit there for hours, but if it's not the right temp, you won't achieve full decarb.
