Are my seeds ready to harvest?

Yesterday I was wondering if my seeds were ready to harvest from this Lemon OG Haze + Super Silver Haze crossed with Unknown Kush then crossed with Carmelo and now a OG Kush and I think its telling me they are. LOL.

I have only harvested garden vegetables and flower seeds by, say, letting a vegetable drop from ripeness and letting it dry out or letting a plant flower and drop seeds on its own.
Is weed different?

I have volunteers like this every time I cross breed. I think a few just get ripe and fall off before the others are ready. If this was being grown for bud it would be about in the beginning of the harvest window

Seeds take 5 weeks minimum to reach viable age. 6 weeks is optimal.

imagine if it were that easy... plant 50 seeds, get 50 fat blunts in a week
maybe someone can genetically engineer the living hell out of some superstrain
