g'day,
i'm a first time grower and have most of my knowledge from here. thanks guys
i bought 5 seeds AK48 fem/auto
2 of them never started growing in the first place
1 died after about 12-15 days (looked always weak anyways)
and the last two are now around 6 weeks old.
and yes i know and found the section in the growers guide that explains how to identify a plant
but like i said i'm a first time grower and just wanna be sure.
hope u understand me.

so it would be nice if anyone could tell me if my girls are really girls

1st is def a female. Can't really tell on the others. Although in the sec pic I might see some crossed stipules? Good sign. But if they are feminized you shouldn't be worried about having a male. Or so I thought. Either way they look good right now!

Hello John Thai, and welcome to the forum!! I also learned about 98% of what I know from the GWE website and participating in this forum.

I agree with Jacuna (Hello to you, too): there's nothing showing on plant 2 yet. I am on my second grow right now, and discovered a BOY (which was from a supposedly feminized seed). Where my other four plants were beginning to put out pistils (like your plant 1), the boy had balls all over him. See the pictures I posted on this thread:

Fem autos should both be girls, but sometimes there is a seed mixup. Like others above, #1 is all girl. You would think at six weeks and being an auto other should be showing too.

Like Green75 said, maybe posts pictures of entire plants and several more close ups showing different parts of plant number two.

hi again, got off a little early today and checked on my girls again. made two more close ups and one of the hole plant. now i believe they r both girls

They look girlie so far, but they also look kinda stretched out like they don't have enough light or nutrients. Are you feeding them?

they get 12h sunlight. direct sunlight only in the morning because i'm afraid the thai sun is to hot for them.
feeding.. nope. i did this with my earliest try ever and i killed them all. i used the recommended amount per liter (even less coz in the forum is written that they want u to use more coz so they can sell more and make more money and i should go easy with it) but after just a couple of days the leafs all turn yellow/brown and they died. so to be honest i'm very afraid to do this again. I don't want then to die.
about the light
i have still from my first try this( please look at the pics)
do u recommend i put them back in there and put them on a 18/6h rotation ?

John, I'm only on my second grow (hydroponic grow box), so I'm not going to be able to tell you as well as other experts on the forum about your lighting. Sounds like you have been reading GWE pages, which is exactly what you should do. You can't get good results without the proper nutrients and lighting. When they died previously, it was either pH problems with your grow medium or overdose on nutes.

I remember back in the 70s trying to grow a seed once, and it died quickly after sprouting. Of course, I had no idea of what I was doing. But I have studied the crap out of GWE, and now I have a pretty good idea of how to "read" my plants' signals. Your plant is signalling that it needs more light and it needs food.

So I think your girls ARE girls, and I believe that there's still a lot you can do to get some good buds off of them. I suggest: Post a new thread, "Help with my autos" or whatever you want to call it, and list all the information asked for on this stickie:

You will get peoples' attention, and the experts will help you with lighting and feeding. We call them weeds, but I've read it over and over on this forum that we have to feed them the proper nutrients to get the results we want!!

I got a ready-made grow box that came with appropriate lights for the size of the interior, as well as with nutrients for a few grows. I just follow the feeding schedule that came with the nutes. I switched my girls to flower at around week 8, so the nutrients have changed as well as the amount of nutrients. I can see with the increased nutrients that the buds are growing quickly and popping up strong. GOTTA FEED EM!!!

So re-post with ALL the requested information, and you'll get responses, ok? Get those girls ready to bloom!!!!! ;-}
