Aquarium water heaters for dwc?

Yes, I actually have an aquarium chiller/heater on on my aero clone machine. Keeps the water cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
I rarely use the heater portion. I mostly use it for cooling though.
 
Yup. Been using it successfully for years. Just make sure to size your equipment properly for the amount of water you plan to control. Better to go a bit oversized (and run equipment less often) than a bit undersized (running the equipment more often) for this application.
