Do clones grow the same as seeds? Can you top a clone and make a manifold?

Yes, but clones will be bushier sometimes. May need to trim them back a little more aggressively.

Coolest thing about clones for me is knowing what they'll be in maturity. Seeds I've noticed vary greatly but they grow the same way, I've got one plant from seed this year that so far is blowing my clones out of the water, but my clones are way more consistent.

Yep. They are mature enough to flower so the nodes are arranged so there’s not two branches coming out the opposite sides of a branch. This creates an asymmetric pattern that in my opinion is way easier to form into a canopy.

Clones will always have a place in my garden but my personal opinion is that for strength and vigor you can't beat a seed that forms a tap root. Dependent on the size of the clone it can be trained like any other seed plant. I have however been given teen clones that have limited my ability to train them.
