Anyone fish OBX - Northern/Corolla

I went a few times and did shore fishing in the ocean. Caught some things but looking for a better time. Uh since when is it $500 for a half day of charter fishing? Man I went in Florida and it was $100.......about 30 years ago now. Wasn't planning to rent a kayak but I kayak fish on lake Erie at home. I could rent one for a week at a fair price if anyone has good Sound fishing history. I see flounder and random ones listed in there. The mouth of the sound and such as well.

I'll take crab cages as well but wondered if anyone has experience in the area. (Play Jimmy Hendrix Are You Experienced here)

And since this is a weed site ... Going2fast the tall one is your Scarlett Galaxy and I'm guessing I mixed up seeds and clipped your S. Grapes but funny enough, the grapes dried heavier. Anyway......

Yeah Galaxy is heavy sativa leaning.one of her parents is zamadelica. Haven't fished down there in years. Best bet is get the kayak and fish the dropoffs at the inlet. Drifting a bull minnow or strip of flounder belly. Or a jig with gulp alive curly tails will get you flounder reds and trout. Surf fishing is kinda hot and miss unless you are good at reading the bars.

Nice plants! Fished off of Ocracoke and Hatteras from the shore. Catching is hit or miss depending on what is running, but the surf fishing is a lot of fun. If you have a long heavy weight rod and spinning reel your are set. You can throw some shiny spoons and try your luck.

This Galaxy is one of my top favorites so far in my grows. Super flavorful and sticky. Wish I could grow a field of it. Still thankful for the seeds, they wouldn't have existed without you Going2fast

I'm leaving at about 4 am Saturday morning and I'll bring some spoons and other bait. I usually have only casted from the shore at night but I'll check into more spots. I have a ton of lures and my dad just brought me some saltwater lures recently so it should be on. I'll have 6 days to get a meal. Planning to take some foil and a handful of some coal to cook it fresh. I tossed back everything I caught last time but this time I'm hungry.
