Anyone check thier PPM's coming out?

Been checking mine. I have about 1000-1100 going in most of the time now, I's peak PPM for my grow I think.

Coming out has steadily risen to 3400 coming out. about 500 points each time. I plan to do a flush next with just additives but is this an indication that my nutes are too hot in the pot?

Should the PPM's coming out match what's going in? I get a good bit of runoff but I reckon it;s not enough?

Rather than adding too much and then flushing, I'd suggest adding just enough and not flushing (although I know flushing is very much in fashion lately). Certainly if the runoff is more concentrated than the already high levels you're adding, you're adding too much.

yes, too much now

Was thinking about cutting everything to 1/3 concentration and running that through. That way they still get some and won;t be left without while I flush the buildup away

OR, running water through and then run nutes rIGHT AFTER

seeing that I have too much in there now, leaving it alone would be a bad idea, wouldn't you say?

Plants seem fine btw

Orchid growers have long had the mantra "Fertilize weakly weekly." I have adapted that to all of my plants (including shrubs, flowers, vegetables) and just give them a more or less steady diet of dilute fertilizer. It works well. An extreme case is the White Widow growing in coco coir downstairs that gets watered with dilute nutes three times a day by a pump on a timer. The fertilizer solution recirculates and gets replaced weekly. Easy, and it works GREAT.

used 1/3 base nutes today. will probably continue that until I flush. total ppm going in was about 800. 300 were from base nutes. I can't wait to get off these current nutes for the Mega Crop stuff. I think Ill have a much better time
