Any takers...?

Just cut off this lower leaf. No bugs, no where. Looked at tutorial but didn't see anything that really looked like this. Thought autos were easy... stick a couple of seeds in the ground... harvest 2 months later... 😁
I have given them very little nutrients because some autos don't like much but this looks like a deficiency to me, just not sure of what. What do you guys think?

6 1/2 weeks old autos growing in FFOF, 5 gal fabric pots. I have only given them 1/2 strength FFBB and FFTB twice and blackstrap molasses twice. They should have another 3 weeks or so till harvest, per breeder. Hope it's a little longer but have never grow autos...

PuravidaC I dont know much about autos, but my understanding is that you should be nearing harvest soon. Could this just be a plant aging normally? If the condition is primarily on fan leaves low down, then I would suspect age. Seems like you have a good soil and have given some nutes in moderation. Not sure if you have time to do anything at this point but wait. I wish you good luck regardless.

I find it easier to start nutes full strength, look for signs of overfeeding, then flush and reduce nutes if needed. Starting with half doses imo creates the off chance of under feeding and having to play catch up with nutes. And with autos, time is a luxury we don’t have.
If lack of nutes is the Pb here(hard to tell on pic), I’d flush with phed water and maybe an enzyme cleaner (clean slate) then start feeding them full strength asap. My 2 cents
good luck!

Yeah, CG. This is my first auto grow. I have harvested several photo grows and trying to apply some of that knowledge to autos but they are different. Some here give their autos nutrients almost like a photo but I have also read autos can be finicky with nutrients. I have had more issues with this grow than any of my past photo grows, plus getting used to new grow space and lights. I must admit, I'm fond of cfl's too!

Yes, it did. There are just a couple of other lower fan leaves that look similar but the one in the photo was the worst. These are autos and I don't know if it is just age or something else.

Lucky, you have a lot of experience with autos so I take your recommendations seriously. This is my first auto grow so I was trying to take things slow but you are right, there isn't much "make up" time with autos. These are 6 1/2 weeks old so I may only have 3 or so weeks left before harvest. This grow has been more of a learning curve than any of the others!

Thanks but nah man this is my first real shot at autos, but been growing plants professionally for close to 30 years, I’m skill recycling!😅 it’s a better cause!
Still not too late to readjust course. A quick flush, couple feedings before final flush (which doesn’t have to happen as many times since you’re about to drench them with straight water right?), clean up of all decayed leaves, clearing of bud sites, basically forcing the plant to focus on buds only might work. Or say screw it! and start another round tonight! 😂

I get a few leaves like that around the lower part of plant. Never much problem. You can tell if it's under feeding it will slowly fade brown .

My question is, what do the leaves above look like? I notice an old funky-looking lower leaf once in a while, but if everything else looks good, I don't worry.

My next grow will be a Medgom auto in my own supersoil with Kindsoil (which is magic) beneath. Will report on nutrient issues if any occur.

OldJarHead said that's why he switched to kindsoil for autos... they grow so fast you don't need additional nutrients using kind soil. Add your own supersoil and I would think you are set, but when what the hell do I know!! 😂
