Brave sole, stay safe.
1) I mix 60% coco to 40% perlite.
2) I have totes and plastic coated wire racks I water on so I can just let the dripping water hit my PH tape. Heres a picture.

Not to bad news always throws hurricanes out of proportion shes is a big bitch tho still havent lost power waiting on it tho which is why imma try some coco grows so i can make sure i dont have to worry about power outages again

Lots of people seem to use a coco/perlite mix, I like to use just coco on its own.

I grow my autos in 30cm/12" diameter plastic pots. When I'm watering I use the saucer from a 50cm diameter pot and I also use the saucer from a 20cm pot. I turn the small saucer upside down and sit it in the middle of the big one and put my pot on top of the small one, all water drains into big saucer. I then tip it into a bucket and test the runoff with my pH pen or if there runoff is deep enough I just test the runoff in the saucer.

I use coco couple of things 1 your ph should be the same as hydro , 2 coco grows are alot slower than hydro , I dont water till runoff I only give them enough to last 3 days so I can feed and give just water every week, then every two weeks I do a flush by just giving them alot of plain water

I read the how to grow in coco on the GWE site. I followed all the steps for preparing the coco perlite mix. Had very few problems, I'm in love with the coco

Hey OzBud ,how has it been going?? I have got an AKRauto that's 23 days old today, I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours did. Humongous indica fans. Potent smell

D.A.A.S.69 I've been going good thanks mate. Missed an opportunity to squeeze in an indoor grow between rental inspections because I've had contractors coming and going. Electricians, plumbers, painters fixing up things for the owners so I'm getting ready for an outdoor grow in about 6 weeks.
