Any beer/wine brewers?

I have been thinking of this for some time and wonder, has anyone here made canna beer or wine?
My thought is to take a beer recipe I already like, remove the hops and replace them with tops. I dont expect a big THC buzz, just a flavor (maybe a little THC) as there is not enuf alcohol to mix it in (extract it from the buds and hold it suspended in the beer).
The GF wants a citrus canna wine, I would be thinking of a citrus wine recipe and just add the bud she wants to use,,,
But I would like to know your thoughts on making these spirits.
This years blackberry wine is brewing now,,,,

I used to brew beer. Not at all sure, though, what replacing hops with bud would taste like. Never boiled bud before. Keep us posted if you do pursue, but be careful! You don’t want to waste any bud!

Interesting read! I had no idea a "beer"was being brewed without grain, how can that be a beer,,, like how can it be wine without fruit????
I am not looking to eliminate the alcohol, but would remove the hops, my beers are all light on hops (I brew what I like) and heavy on alcohol.
And ya this is in the future when I have plenty of bud to do it with.,

Sounds good with the alcohol content. There is a fine line for hoppy beers for me - the line divides beers that taste fruity and beers that taste like feet.

Fruit beers are nice. Peach in an ale sounds awesome and I think lately brewers have been able to balance out the flavours between the fruit and beer really well compared to the past. Do you like the sour beers too?

One of the beers I do is Russian Imperial which has very little hops to it. I'll leave the IPAs to the young,,,,

Peach ale sounds interesting, I bet the GF would luv it! I could put that on shelf next to the rosepetal wine,,,
