Another rookie question on flowering.

Just read DW2's post about a pistil showing up after switch to 12/12. I have a half dozen on my lady and just thought they were pre-flowers like in veg stage. Are they the beginnings of buds and if so, how long til they are recognizable as such. I've been worrying that I missed something or made another mistake.

Have u switched to 12/12 ? Are u growing autos?

I found that towards the second week you will know for sure. You will see little tufts on top of the colas which will turn white by week two.

Anyway yes thos hairs r bud sites but the time frame is up to wht ur growing u will have a hole lot of white hairs before you see nugs

Within a couple weeks or less the should begin to look like buds.

I switched to 12/12 ten days ago. It is a photoperiod but no idea what strain

As long as u dnt see any male ball sacks growing you'll be seeing nugs in a few weeks

If you are useing CFLs it takes longer

Mine took 9 days after 12/12 switch with 600W hps
