Another Newb Grow #2!!

So I’m going to put all of that wisdom I gained ( and in large part received from all of you during that time) during Grow # 1 to good use on Grow #2…. Seeds have popped and been above ground for about a week… 2 BlueDreams (Ginger and Lynn - and if you get that reference, you’re as old and twisted as I am)…. Keeping it to 2 in the tent (vs 3 last time) will give me a little more room, and the opportunity to deploy a DIY 2’x2’ screen to make the most of the grow space…

I think I mentioned last time that I’ve never been much of a smoker, and was growing just to see if I could.. that paradigm may be changing a bit after that first harvest. With the proper cure and equipment/gadgets, I believe I may be acquiring a taste! And my wife loves the gummies I made her to help her get to sleep… definitely some +’s I was not previously aware of…

Anyway… time to get growing!!!

Well i kinda got a clue who Ginger is but Lynn i'm not to sure about LOL an i'm abit of a geezer. Goodluck and looking forward to the postings :)

Ginger and Lynn are doing well… soon to turn it to 12/12 once i get just a little more lateral length… definitely a bigger fan of the tie-down method vs the screen… way more control with the ties… and not entirely sure I favor the General Hydroponics Trio vs the DynaGRO and BLOOM ….. will let it play out to see how it ends, but I think at this point Grow#3 will be back in the Dyna nutes…

The girls are on 12/12 starting today… did some minor defol, and pretty happy with the base that’s been built. Did shift from the GH Trio and back to the Dyna Bloom… just didn’t like the color of the plants compared to last grow, and the plants just don’t seem as strong either.. kinda floppy, for lack of a better term… we’ll see if they come back stronger in a week or so.

Looking good training wise, i get what your saying about the yellowing. It's way early in the grow to see this, maybe that strain needs more N ?

That's what I thought as well, SoOrbudgal .... just not looking as good as the last grow, and the only altered variable is the nutrient regimen... I think they're looking better... and feeling a bit stronger... already...

2 weeks into 12/12, and the girls are progressing nicely.. switched back to the Dyna nutes, as they just weren’t looking as healthy as Grow #1, and they’ve basically come roaring back… much happier with the way they’re shaping up now… training has gone relatively well… happy with it!!

Thanks, SoOrbudgal … and speaking of which, what other sativas are in your Top 5? I think I’ll keep going with the indica Blueberries ( the gummies I make with them help my beautiful other half sleep), but I’m kind of digging the direct effect of the sativa BlueDream… any other recommendations?

5 weeks of 12/12 in the books… starting to get a little heft to them… Lynn is looking a bit better than Ginger, especially as it relates to lighting… leaf tips showing a burn, even though Ginger’s light is 2 feet above the plant and at 80%…. Lynn is at the same level, but nowhere near the tip burn… have reduced % as well as increased distance… Anyway… buds are starting to build a bit, and that old familiar aroma is beginning to become pronounced… Ginger’s “ambers” are at 30-40%, while Lynn’s are 10’ish but thicker.. another 4 weeks or so is my guess, so truly something to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving!
