Am i better off growing in 2Gal?

If you have height challenges a scrog will help since you're spreading the branches under the net to keep them at a consistent height and get more even coverage of the canopy.

I definitely hear what you’re saying about the weigh and sorry about your back! I think my issue with the 5’s stems from growing small plants due to my restrictions. The autos roots never consume the whole bag and when growing photos my height and veg time limit them enough to not take over the whole 5gal either. So a lot of wasted water, etc, and likely stayed water logged. All the 3gals had roots to the edges but not bound and like I mentioned the quality and quantity seemed to be better. I’ll keep y’all in the loop with this next grow.

I’ve found 2-gallon pots keep plants much shorter, but they dry out faster, so watering is more often. Yield drops a bit, but the buds can still come out tight if feeding stays steady.

I’ve run into the same height crunch, and dropping to 2-gallon pots did keep things compact without wrecking quality. You’ll just water a bit more often. Training early helps a ton too. Sometimes I peek at setups meant for bigger projects, like a light deprivation greenhouse, just to steal ideas on controlling stretch and timing. Even small tweaks from those setups can make a tight tent way easier to manage.
