Almost ready to harvest, leaves are turning yellow

Hi everyone,

I have 5 plants, Exodus Cheese auto fem, auto flower. They have been growing for 60 days or so. Definitely flowering but the almost all the bud trichomes are still clear. However, I did back off to zero the nutrients so the plants have not gotten any fertilizer for about 10 days. I have a lot of leaves that are showing chlorosis (yellowing). Should I give the plants some nitrogen or let the leaves yellow until harvest or what? You can see in the pics the situation. I'm wondering what to do, any ideas?

Hi Bookreader, I don't think they're ready yet. Those trich need to get nice fat round heads and go cloudy and even amber in some cases. I'd be tempted to give them another week of nutes or so. If you're in coco you only need to flush for a week. I tend to let my plants go until I think they're ready, then I start flush and harvest them a week after I think they're ready ... the system has worked well for me, I'm always too eager to chop :)

Hi BeachTown Brit and Ozbud,

I did as you suggested, I am leaving the plants in the pots for a week or so, which is coming up soon. I am going to look at the plants through microscope today and evaluate. Thanks for you input on guiding me about what to do. I have never harvested before so it's new to me.
