All grow tent reviews seem to have light leaks?

I am a 1st time grower and have auto's that are doing well and just entered the flowering stage so I'm not concerned about light leaks now. I would like to purchase some regular feminized photoperiod seeds but am concerned about light leaking in. My dark period will be at night but spring is coming and days are getting long. Please advise.

I'm attaching pics of my auto's and would appreciate comments suggestions

Can't really help - I only grow autoflowers for that very reason - not sure how one blocks the intake airflow on the tent to eliminate light.

Growing in ones basement could be easier.

Yeah a lotta tents have pinholes at the zippers. Too bad My Utban Greenhouse went belly up. I got one of their last 4x6x7 tents & I LOVE IT!!!
But as for the leaks- try black nail polish.

I don't use a tent. Just a darkened room. there is a light leak but it is obviously inconsequential because my photos are doing well. Regardless, the intent is to ensure that things like unnatural light like car headlights or neon signs or even living room CFL's don't leak in on a constant basis. Leakage from normal daylight is assumed.

the important part is to ensure the plants receive 12 hours of darkness but not like the kind found in an underground cave!!!

I use Vivosun tents too. Mine stay in an unlit room in the basement so there's a double shielding from unwanted light. If there's no way to set up your tent in its own space, you can always throw a blanket over the zippers if you're worried. I've not had problems result from light leaks ever. In nature, the plants do have to deal with full moons and such so they can deal with a bit of light in the dark period as long as it isn't too bright or harsh.

Gorilla prices aren't too bad. I have a 3x3 and a 5x5. These things are bullet proof. I did find a couple of tiny pinhole light leaks in the stitching. But nothing im concerned about. Like the size of a needle tip.

I feel like we have this come up every couple weeks lately. Well, similar anyway. Light leaks, outside lights, moon, etc 😂 Mine's still there, still no issues.
